Rebrandly Updates

September 18th, 2020 - Trending links

Knowing which link is performing the best in a specific timeframe is paramount!
This is why our team of designer and engineers just created the new "Trending Links" report.

With this report, you will be able to select a specific workspace (including extended ones) and get:
- (A) the list of the links clicked in a specific timeframe
- (B) the number of links clicked in that timeframe
- (C) available timeframes: Yesterday, Last 7 days, Last 30 days
- (D) the possibility to export the full report in CSV format

This new feature is already available for all paid customers with aggregated reports in their subscription plan. If you cannot access this feature, considering upgrading to the pro plan or contact the sales team

August 21st, 2020 - QR Code Template

QR Codes are becoming more and more important in connecting the Offline World with the Online. It is probably the fastest way to access online content from an offline source by using your mobile smartphone. At Rebrandly we care a lot about connecting people with the best possible user experience. For this reason, Rebrandly is now providing the option to customise your QR Codes for free.

For any Rebrandly account that has at least one domain name connected you will be able (from the domain list section) to personalize the QR codes associated with that domain name. All the branded links created with that domain name will come with the personalized QR code. More about Rebrandly QR-Codes

Our designers and engineers are working on some even more powerful customization options. Hopefully, we will see them go live soon 👍

August 10th, 2020 - Brand your links with your main domain name

The ALIAS domain name is here! From now on you will be able to use your main company domain to create trustworthy branded links. Basically, you can now create branded links with the domain name of your organization website. Easy one-time setup, zero risks for your company website, manages possible priorities between the website pages and the branded links. Read more

The ALIAS domain feature + the Repair-broken-links feature combined will enable you to manage and optimize any page-not-found (404) route on your main site. The more popular your website becomes, the higher the chance that people share links to the homepage or internal pages - like products, the pricing page, blog articles etc... Sometimes the links contain typos and redirect to an unexisting page. Lots of traffic is lost! With Rebrandly you can easily intercept & measure the traffic lost, quickly repair these routes and increase the visibility of your assets.

At Rebrandly, we also use our main website domain name Rebrandly.com to create very trustworthy branded links. When people see our brand and our main domain they feel that they are safe to click. As an example, here is a link to an interesting article our team found online: Rebrandly.com/Brand-Power

Anyone in our team can use the domain name, all the page of the website will continue to have priority over the branded links (in case the route is the same) and the Rebrandly account administrator has the control on who and when a new link has been created. They can decide to edit or remove any link.

This is a paid feature, please contact our sales team in order to get an upgrade.

July 1st, 2020 - Welcome DARK mode

Broken links happen! Maybe someone shared your link with a typo or the link was deleted by mistake. Every time a link is broken it means that some traffic is lost. So how do you know which branded link is broken and how much traffic is wasted?

With this new feature, Rebrandly allows you to monitor all your branded domain names, find out which link is broken and how important it is in terms of traffic.

We monitor human clicks over the last 30 days. Once you discover which links are broken you may want to repair them, ...no problem, just click on the edit icon and you will be instantly able to repair the link by pointing it to the right destination.

This is a paid feature, please contact our sales team in order to get an upgrade.

January 28th, 2020 - Advanced branded link options via API
Rebrandly routing features for branded links have always been one of our strengths. Just a few link management tools let you route traffic on your URLs based on the geolocation, language, time etc... of the person who clicks. Even fewer tools provide this service in a reliable way. Today, we extended the routing feature to include this option at API level. It is now possible to empower your branded links using our API specific endpoints. This is possible with our standard API as well as with extended workspaces API that lets you create up to 1,000 links per second.

January 18th, 2020 - HSTS Strict Security Policy
Security is an everyday keyword for our engineers. This is something we strive to excel in. For this reason, the HTTP Strict Transport Security (HSTS) has been implemented for our website and our dashboard. In short, it makes any browser auto-force unencrypted/HTTP connections to be encrypted/HTTPS

January 10th, 2020 - ReplyBuy branded links for your SMS
When it comes to sending SMS for marketing or transactional messages - the link structure is key! There are at least three primary elements to consider:

  • Links must be short
You have limited space for each SMS - you don't want to have to send two or more SMS because of the link length, so keep it concise.
  • Deliverability makes the difference
SMS containing links created with generic URL shorteners are often left undelivered or blacklisted. This is because generic URL shorteners are used by thousands of people (including spammers).  Don't risk using them, opt to use branded links instead.
  • Showcase your brand
A link with your branded, custom domain is more trusted than a link without - you can get up to 39% additional click-through rate.

Our partner ReplyBuy just integrated Rebrandly branded links into their platform. Now, it will be super easy for their customers to create messages that include 100% custom branded links. Read the full documentation
