What are Teammates?

Updated over a month ago
Rebrandly

A teammate is a user or a guest who can be added to your workspace to collaborate on creating, sharing, and managing branded links and QR Codes. By inviting teammates to a Rebrandly account and setting their permissions, account owners control what they have access to and what they can do in Rebrandly.

  • Account owners invite teammates to their workspaces and manage their permissions based on assigned roles. These invited teammates can manage links and configure workspace settings according to the permissions granted by the account owner.

  • The number of teammate seats available in your account is based on your subscription plan. Some plans also include the Add-on option to purchase more seats. See the pricing page for details.

  • Administrators should periodically review their team permissions. This periodic review allows you to optimize resources and maintain a high level of security by avoiding unwanted access.

On December 19, 2024, Rebrandly transitioned from an "active teammates" model to a "seats" model. Previously, only those who actively accessed the platform during a billing cycle were counted towards the plan's limit. Now, the system follows a seat-based approach, meaning each invited teammate occupies a seat regardless of their activity level. An administrator can easily manage teammates' seat count by uninviting or removing access for teammates who no longer need access or upgrading.
