How should I format my CSV file for importing links?

Updated over a month ago
Rebrandly

To import/create links in bulk into Rebrandly you'll need a .CSV file that's formatted so that the system can read it properly.

To download a template for the CSV file:

  1. Log in to Rebrandly.

  2. Click Workspaces.

  3. Click on a workspace name.

  4. Click Import new links.

  5. Click Download .CSV template.

There are two columns in the file, the destination URL and the optional custom back half, labeled as "slashtag."

Destination URL

  • Must include the protocol like http://, https://, mailto:, etc.

  • Can include UTM parameters in the links.

  • Can be the same for several different links,

Slashtag (also called the back half)

  • The keyword that will appear at the end of the branded link. For example, mydomain.click/apple.

  • It's optional. Rebrandly will generate a random string for you if it's empty.

  • Cannot be repeated. If a slashtag for the same domain name already exists, the line will be skipped, and the branded link will not be created.
