Whether you're importing a list of links from another link management platform or a spreadsheet where you already manage UTM parameters, you have a few different options to create links in bulk.
Prepare for the import
Requirements
Custom domain - You'll need to set up and use a custom domain to create links in bulk. You cannot create links from an import using the rebrand.ly domain.
File format - You'll either use the Google Sheets add-on or upload a prepared CSV file.
Destination URL - The only required field is the destination URL for each link you want to create. Optionally, you can add back halves (also known as slashtags) for more customization.

Consider the number of links
Link limits - You can create as many links as your subscription plan allows. Check your allowances and current status by logging into Rebrandly and clicking the Usage button at the top of the page.
Time to process - The more links you're importing, the longer it will take for the system to create them. We recommend no more than 400,000 links per CSV file, and no more than 1,000 links when using the Google Sheets add-on.
Importing from Google Sheets with the Sheets add-on
Our Google Sheets add-on creates a formatted spreadsheet where you can paste your list of link destinations. The add-on is a good option if you're importing fewer than 1,000 links. If there is more than that, it gets a bit slow.
Transferring from another link platform
The major steps to bringing your links from another service are:
Export the links from your old system.
Add your custom domain to Rebrandly. This is important because you cannot migrate generic links with domains like bit.ly.
Import the links into Rebrandly.
Update your custom domain's DNS settings. You'll do this last to ensure your links continue to function during the transfer.
