How do I cancel my domain renewal?

When you buy a domain through Rebrandly, it will automatically renew annually, and we will bill you 10 months after your initial purchase. You can cancel the auto-renewal at any time.

Auto-renewal is enabled by default to prevent domain expiration and ensure uninterrupted service for your branded links.

When you cancel your subscription to a domain from Rebrandly:

  • Your access to the domain will be revoked after the billing cycle ends.

  • Links using this domain will stop working once the domain is detached from your account and the DNS is updated.

The renewal price for domains may differ from the initial purchase price, as promotional first-year pricing often applies. The standard renewal rate is displayed at checkout, and Rebrandly sends reminder emails about upcoming renewals to keep you informed.

To cancel the auto-renewal:

  1. Log in to Rebrandly.

  2. Click Domains.

  3. Click Manage next to the domain.

  4. Click Configuration.

  5. Click Autorenew.

  6. Click Turn off autorenew for this domain.

That will turn off your automatic billing at the renewal date. We'll send you an email prior to your domain's expiration date in case you decide to renew it.
