How do I build a custom report?

Updated over a month ago
Rebrandly

Create a custom report to capture click data for specific time periods and link metadata within a single workspace. The report can be emailed to recipients at regular intervals that you specify.

To create a custom report:

  1. Log in to Rebrandly.

  2. Click Reports in the top navigation menu.

  3. Click Custom.

  4. Select a Workspace. Custom report data is restricted to a single Workspace.

  5. Enter a name for your report.

  6. Click the Data set checkboxes for every field you'd like to see in your report.

  7. Click the Frequency list and select one of the options:
    - Choose On demand to create and save a report that you can run manually whenever you'd like.
    - Choose Every day, Every week, or Every month to create a report that will automatically run at regular intervals and be sent by email.

  8. For On demand reports, select a date range and time zone for your report. Reports are initially in UTC, but you can convert clicks to your local timezone.

  9. For the Every day, Every week, or Every month reports, select a date to run the report for the first time.

Then select the time range for the report data. This will count back from the date the report is run.

  10. Choose data filters for your report. You can filter by tags, domains, teammates, click type, traffic type, click location, and UTM parameters. OR filters show click data matching at least one selected filter.
AND filters show click data matching combinations of selected filters.

Report filters cannot be modified after the report is created.

  11. Enter the email addresses for report recipients. They will receive an email notification when the report is ready.

  12. Enter a message for the body of the email.

  13. Click Save report.

  • If I use a custom report and then delete it, will it count towards my volume limits?
Yes, the count is based on when the custom report is processed, not when it's created. This means if you create a custom report, run it, and then delete it, the system will still track that usage and count it against your available limit.
