How do I add a domain to Rebrandly?

Updated over a month ago

Once you've purchased a unique domain and configured the domain's DNS settings to point to Rebrandly, you can add it to your account and begin creating links with it.

To add your domain to Rebrandly:

  1. Log in to Rebrandly.

  2. Click on Domains.

  3. If you already have a domain, click New Domain. Otherwise, continue to the next step.

  4. Click Connect a domain.

  5. Enter your domain name.

  6. If you are using a subdomain, click No, it's being used, and enter the subdomain.
If you are not using a subdomain, click Yes, this is a spare domain.
(You can also learn about the very technical alias domain option, available on some paid plans.)

  7. Click Save.

  8. We'll display the settings required for your registrar's DNS. If you haven't set these up, you'll need to do so now.

  9. Click View My Domains.

The changes to your DNS and the verification status will display on the Domains page. We'll also send you an email when your domain is ready to use. This could take up to a day, but usually happens immediately.
