If you already have single sign-on set up with Rebrandly, you may notice a new Single sign-on card in Settings → Authentication, alongside your existing configuration (now labeled Single sign-on (Legacy)).
What changed
We upgraded how SSO is set up and managed with a faster setup process that guides you through all steps, and with live connection testing and changes that apply immediately.
Nothing changes for you today. Your existing SSO configuration is unaffected and keeps working exactly as it does now. You don't need to do anything.
Why you might want to switch
Faster, self-service setup if you ever need to reconfigure — live connection testing, and changes that apply instantly instead of waiting for propagation.
SCIM directory sync, available as an optional add-on — automatically keeps your Rebrandly teammates in sync with your identity provider.
If you do want to switch
Follow How do I set up SSO for Rebrandly? to configure the new setup. A few things to know:
Your legacy configuration keeps working the entire time you're setting up the new one — there's no gap in access for your team.
Once the new setup is complete, it takes over and the legacy option disappears from your view.
If you want to revert later, deleting the new configuration automatically restores your legacy SSO.
Before you switch: once the new setup is active, every new person who signs in for the first time is automatically granted access to all workspaces with the Reviewer role. As the account Owner, plan to review and reassign teammate roles right after switching, and any time a new teammate signs in for the first time afterward.
