How do I customize the back half of a branded link?

You can modify the back half of a link by editing it. This will delete the original link and create a new link with the new back half.

⚠️ Let's repeat that: Changing the back half of a link will delete the original link and all previously collected metrics for it. Check if you're using those metrics for reporting before making this change.

To edit a link:

  1. Click Links in the navigation menu.

  2. Click the Edit icon next to the link.

  3. Click the Edit button.

  4. Click Edit branded link to confirm you want to change the back half. Remember, this will delete all metrics for the current link.

  5. Enter the new back half or click Optimize to choose from selections created by Rebrandly AI.
    ​

  6. Confirm the new link is correct and click Save.
    ​

  7. Click Save again to confirm that you understand your original link will be deleted and all metrics will be lost.
