How do I set up SSO?

Updated this week

Before setting up Rebrandly's SSO (SAML 2.0), create an account with an identity provider (IdP). The IdP is the system that manages your users and their access to your organization's applications.

Setting up SSO involves adding information from your IDP to your Rebrandly settings (and vice versa), so keep both open in separate tabs.

To set up SSO in Rebrandly:

  1. Log in to Rebrandly.

  2. Click on your profile icon.

  3. Click Account settings.

  4. Click on Set up SSO.

  5. Enter the following information:

    • Integration Name: A name for the configuration.

    • Metadata URL: The URL of the metadata XML released by your identity provider.

    • Entity ID: The attribute in the metadata XML at the root level.

  6. Click Submit.

  7. The system will generate an ACS URL. Copy this URL and enter it in your identity provider's settings.

  8. Click Add domain.

  9. Enter the domain name to connect to the SSO.

  10. Select a Role and Workspace.

Role determines the level of access users will have within the SSO integration.

Workspace is where you will enable SSO for this domain.

  11. Click Save.

Once you finish the SSO setup, you'll be able to configure automatic workflows to automatically add new users, with a designated role, to some or all (or none) of your Workspaces. This configuration is done directly in your Rebrandly SSO settings.
