QR Code Customization Options
There are two different ways to customize QR codes:
A. Link-Level Customization
The link creator or team administrators can customize and download the QR code, but cannot save these changes.
Only the domain owner has permission to save QR code customizations; they will be applied to the domain level (all links generated with that domain).
B. Domain-Level Customization
This can only be done by the domain owner.
The customization will apply to all links under that domain.
QR Code Appearance vs. Functionality
Modifying the visual elements of a QR code does not alter its underlying link. Whether you customize a QR code's appearance by changing its size, color, or adding logos, it will always direct users to the same original URL.
The visual presentation of the QR code is independent from its encoded link information. This means you can freely adjust the aesthetic aspects of your QR code without worrying about affecting where it leads when scanned.
A. Follow these steps for customising your QR Code at the link Level:
Log in to your Rebrandly account.
If you hover your mouse over any branded link, you will notice a QR code icon next to it.
Click on the QR code Icon.
Customize your QR code by adding a logo, changing colors and dimensions.
Click the Download button to view or download the new QR code directly (only if you choose the SVG format).
Only if you are the domain owner can you save changes by ticking the check box under the QR code to amend your settings for all the links associated with a specific branded domain.
B. Follow these steps for customizing your QR Code at the domain Level:
1. Log in to your Rebrandly account.
2. Click on "Domains" TAB in the top navigation bar.
3. Choose the domain name you want to customize the QR code.
4. Scroll down to manage the QR code and click on the "Customize" Button.
5. Customize your QR code by adding a logo, and changing colors.
6. Click on "Save" to apply your customization.
