How do I customize my QR codes?

Every branded link you create in Rebrandly generates a QR code. Just as you customize those links to make them your own, you can also change the look of your QR codes. For a quick look at everything you can customize, including logo, colors, size, and error correction level, see What customization options are included for QR codes?

Modifying the visual elements of a QR code does not alter its underlying link. Whether you customize a QR code's appearance by changing its size, color, or adding logos, it will always direct users to the same original URL.
The visual presentation of the QR code is independent from its encoded link information. This means you can freely adjust the aesthetic aspects of your QR code without worrying about affecting where it leads when scanned.

There are two places where you can customize links:

In individual links, where the link creator or team administrators can customize and download the individual QR code, but cannot save these changes.

In a domain's settings, where you create a template for every link created with that domain. Only the domain owner can do this.

To customize a QR Code for an individual link

  1. Select a workspace.

  2. Under Links, select Branded links.

  3. To the right of your link, select the three-dot menu, then QR code.

  4. Customize your QR code by adding a logo, changing the colors and size, or setting the error correction level.

  5. Click the Download button to view or download the new QR code directly (only if you choose the SVG format).

  6. Only if you are the domain owner can you save changes by ticking the check box under the QR code to amend your settings for all the links associated with a specific custom domain.

To set a QR code template for a domain

  1. Select Domains from the navigation menu.

  2. To the right of the domain, select Manage.
