Shorten a link right from the current browser page without switching tabs or signing into Rebrandly, with the Rebrandly Chrome extension.
To install the extension:
Open your Chrome browser.
Sign in to Rebrandly.
Click Apps.
Click Chrome Extension. This will direct you to the Rebrandly page in the Chrome Web Store.
Click Add to Chrome.
Review the permissions and click Add extension.
Click the extensions icon to display your list of extensions.
Click the pin next to Rebrandly to pin the extension to your toolbar.
Click the Rebrandly icon.
Click Login or Sign up and sign in to your Rebrandly account.
Choose the workspace, domain, and back half style for the links you'll create through the extension.
If you'd like a shortcut to automatically detect links and shorten them with one click, click Enable automatic link detection.
If you'd like the browser to detect URLs inside text areas and immediately rebrand them, click Automatically rebrand and replace links.
Close the browser tab.
You're now ready to create branded links quickly in your Chrome browser.
