As per GDPR rules, if you are an EU citizen or if you have a company operating in the EU, you have the right to request deletion/anonymization of your PII (Personally Identifiable Information) data. Once Rebrandly receives your request, our team will process it and will proceed to anonymize your PII (email address, billing data, etc...) within our platform and databases. It's important to note that you cannot remain as our customer once your data has been anonymized. Your account will be suspended and the access to your links/dashboard etc. will be lost.
Rebrandly Account data anonymization request
To ask for your account anonymization send an email to support [at] rebrandly [.] com with the subject: "GDPR Account Data Anonymization".
IMPORTANT: for eligibility issues, the e-mail must be sent FROM the Rebrandly Account e-mail that you wish to anonymize.
Domain WHOIS data anonymization request
By default, domain names registered through Rebrandly (Managed) have a privacy shield. This means your data is not available to the general public through whois public databases. To ask for your domain data anonymization, please send an email to support [at] rebrandly [.] com with the subject: "GDPR domain name data anonymization".
IMPORTANT: for eligibility issues, the e-mail must be sent FROM the WHOIS data e-mail of the domain you wish to anonymize.
NOTE: we can ONLY anonymize domain names registered through Rebrandly and NOT external domain names (DNS setup) When a domain is anonymized it cannot be renewed and the auto-renew will be in the "off" position. You will not be able to recover the domain and all associated links - this is a permanent action.
