Can I move links between my workspaces?

No, you cannot move links directly between workspaces in Rebrandly.
However, you can work around this in two different ways:

1. Via API using the following recipe

• This script will scan the links in a source workspace of choice and migrate them one by one into a target workspace of choice, provided the target workspace is associated with the same Branded Domain(s).
• WARNING: for each link matching the filter by the domain (filter can be omitted if you want to migrate all links), this script will delete it from the source workspace and re-create it into the new workspace with the same Title, Slashtag, Destination URL, Notes, Traffic Rules, and OpenGraph, but it will not migrate:
  • Your traffic metrics for the link: links in the target workspace will show zero clicks right after the migration
  • Any tag associated with the link
  • Any retargeting script associated with the link
  • Any deep linking rule associated with the link

2. By exporting the links from the source workspace, importing them into the destination workspace, and then deleting the original links from the source workspace.

Note: Before deleting the link, make sure:

• The domain you want to use to recreate the link is available in the new workspace.
• You have the admin rights to permanently delete the original link.
• You are aware that you will lose all of the click stats for the original link.

How to move links from one workspace to another in my dashboard:

To move links from the Source Workspace to the destination workspace, you can follow these steps:

1. Export all links from the source workspace.
2. Add the domain to the destination workspace.
3. Delete all links related to the domain from the source workspace.
4. Import the links to the destination workspace.
5. Repeat steps 1-4 for all domains involved.
6. Delete the source workspace (if needed).

This has to be carried out via API.

  - We have created a specific recipe that can be used to export the links. 
• Importing
  - Go to the Links page in the Rebrandly dashboard.
  - Click the Import button.
  - Select the CSV file that you exported from the source workspace.
  - Click the Import button.
• To delete links from a workspace:
  - Go to the Links page in the Rebrandly dashboard.
  - Select the links that you want to delete.
  - Click the Delete button.
  - Click the Delete button again to confirm -  Or use the following recipe to delete links in bulk via API.

  No, it is possible to migrate links to a Workspace within the same account.
  
  
• Can links be migrated from a personal Workspace to a shared Workspace within the same account?
  Yes, this migration is possible. You just need to have the right permissions and respect your role within the destination Workspace.

  Yes, you must create the new destination Workspace in advance before proceeding with the migration.
  
  
• Does the associated domain need to be already present in the destination Workspace?
