Video Transcript:
This is Derric from Rebrandly.com, and today I want to talk to you about notes.
Notes a really handy feature when you're creating a lot of links in your way Rebrandly dashboard, because frankly, it gets confusing - There's a lot of things going on and a quick little note can help you understand why you created this link, and what the link is all about.
So let's go into a Link and hit the edit button really fast, and you'll see here we have the ability to change our destination URL and our URL slug. And if we hit this gear icon on the top, our beta window will open and then we'll be able to add notes.
So we could say "This is a guest blog post, I want you to promote heavily on our Facebook page, make sure to use hashtag social media examiner too" and so that's included in the note. Update it there you can see here at the bottom and anybody else that comes into the account will see the note and we'll know exactly what it's used for.
You can use this in conjunction with tags to help sort things and help keep things organized, and make sure that everybody is on the same page. Then hit the Save button, we're updated. Link is good to go.
And that is how you use notes. If you have any questions please feel free to leave them in the comments below.
In order to use this feature, you obviously have to Rebrandly URL shortener which you can use and can access for free at Rebrandly[DOT]com, where we help people put their brand on their links and share those across the internet. Go to Rebrandly[DOT]com to check it.
